As the SRL season comes to an end, there are still a few wiffleball tournaments remaining this season, there's the JNL Classic at Modrovsky Park on Labor Day, if you are interested in getting a team or interested in playing in general, please reply

Hi John,
Some of the Young Birds and a few of my friends expressed interest in playing so you can count us in. If you need a team name just use Young Birds because it will be easy to not have to think of one that way. Is there a roster limit because I potentially will have about 8-9. Also, is it ok to change fielders every inning so my team can all play during the games. We just want to have a fun holiday weekend of games so I was hoping to split up playing time equally all around.

I'm pretty sure the New Guys are also interested. Beau and I will certainly be there. We're just not sure yet if it will be the Howler Monkeys or the Westside Washout.

This will be my fourth Modrovsky tournament. The atmosphere is wonderful, and it is all about fun and good sportsmanship (not to mention good food as well). I believe the lineup limit is eight or nine, and I believe fielding substitution is the same as the SRL. I'm not sure if there are pitching regulations, but I do know there is no speed limit and their mound is two feet closer than ours.

That is exactly what I was hoping to hear. Let everybody play, hit , pitch and just have some fun.
Great job you and Beau on the recaps by the way! Do you take notes as they go on or what? When you missed that homer in the last game I thought I saw you go into your pocket for a notepad and pen and jot down something in Latin shorthand.

The recaps come from: the box score (55%), the score book (32%), memory (10%), and winging it (3%). I only jot something down if it's a "Quote of the Week" candidate. If you saw me scribbling something down on Sunday, it was about your little toesies.
And the only Latin I know is, "Et tu, Brute?"

Also forgot to mention it's 5 dollars per player, and Hank, 8 can bat, 5 can play the field and it's free substitution and I believe there is no innings limit in the tournament
