Bill, good article though you would probably consider me a bat purist as you describe them. You left out of the article that the only guy who used a yellow bat this year also hit a homer with it Give a bit of love to the yellow bat my friend. If, just a little.

Hank, thanks for commenting. Sometimes I wonder if anybody's reading after all the time I put into writing them. As for showing you a little love: patience. Remember it's a trilogy.

As long as you don't portray as a cyborg who cuts off his son's hand with a yellow bat I am looking forward to it

Good end to the article, Bill. It is great to hear his story and to know that that bat is not simply made by some faceless corporation. Keep up the good work and I look forward to the next one.

I like the Young Birds read, Bill. Hitting is, without a doubt, our number one problem, and me and Josh are worried about facing Ball this week even because when Josh was gone only me and Nick had success off of him. I plan on throwing balls at Ron's head though this week sometime to teach him how to read a simple wiffle ball curve though. Maybe that will help.
Keep up the good work.

Oh, I forgot too Bill. Mill Library in Nanticoke is having a summer book club. We read Gatsby and Mice and Men already and are reading Death of a Salesman this month. If you are free, and want to talk some lit with random strangers, stop on down. Wednesday, July 31st at 6:30. They have free cookies, baked goods, etc too.

Hey Bill. Just wanted to join the board here to let you know the article on the Loco Bat was really fantastic. I see you guys are doing really well with the new league and I'm glad to see it.

Welcome aboard, Hart! It's great to hear from you. I hope all is well. Thanks for the compliment on the LoCo Bat article. Haha, you're the pitcher I said wasn't really trying to get us out just to make it a game.

Thanks a lot, Hart! Organizing this league has been a lot of fun. The quality of play and the level of dedication from our teams far exceeds what my expectations were going into the season. There has definitely been a learning curve for our teams, but I think that several have really come into their own and are set up nicely for a strong playoff run and/or a very competitive 2014. I hope everything is well on your end.
